Along his path, Sung Jinwoo encounters monsters, while his team hears a cry and discovers Jungho dead and Kim severely injured. Despite Joohee’s efforts to save Kim, he tragically succumbs to his wounds.
Tensions escalate when Kang attempts to attack Joohee, only to be thwarted by Sung Jinwoo. Song, another member of the group, confronts Kang but proves no match for the B-rank hunter.
Sung Jinwoo intervenes, engaging Kang in battle. Despite Kang’s use of the “Stealth” skill, Sung Jinwoo outmatches him and ultimately delivers a fatal blow, ending the conflict.
Episode 9 condenses events from chapters 30-34 of the source material, omitting certain details. As a result, it covers a significant portion of the narrative. Moving forward, episode 10, titled “What is This, A Picnic?” is expected to adapt chapters 35-38, focusing more on intense battles.
