She teased,

“I think it’s going to be really exciting for folks who haven’t read the manhwa because already, you’re probably blown away going, ‘I can’t believe they just did that! That just happened and someone had to animate that!’ Some things are coming that will make you throw your popcorn and drop your drinks — and then it’s not done!”

Glass further described the upcoming developments as bombastic, assuring fans that the thrill won’t be confined to a single-episode cliffhanger. “It’s a lot and bombastic is a great word for it. It keeps going and keeps pulling you in and wanting more,” she added.

With both Glass and Le deeply involved in the production, they are well-versed in the anime’s trajectory. Glass mentioned her almost year-long engagement in the dub’s pre-production, while Le’s pivotal role in voicing Jin-woo gives him a unique perspective on character nuances.

Their commitment to authenticity is evident, with Glass mentioning how Le often provides input on ensuring Jin-woo’s lines align with his character.

The English dub team’s passion for Solo Leveling is apparent, with Crunchyroll, the producer of the dub version, actively championing the show. Rahul Purini, Crunchyroll’s CEO, shared how their team’s enthusiasm for the manhwa led to the show’s production.

“Our team read the manhwa, liked the IP, and so we actually took it to one of our sister partners in Japan — Aniplex — and co-produced the show with them. So that’s one example of where we co-produced a show that we brought to the table based on what we were hearing from our fans,” Purini explained.

Additionally, a documentary series for Solo Leveling has been announced, further heightening the anticipation among fans.
