In the previous chapter, the kids from Eden Academy attended a fancy event called Gala. Anya really wanted to dance with Damian to help her dad. But Damian said no, just like everyone thought he would.
Anya didn’t let that stop her, though. She decided to take part in a contest organized by Emile and Ewen. Their goal was to find a dance partner for Damian.
In Spy x Family chapter 95, Becky Blackbell shared the news with Anya about the upcoming class Gala. Without wasting a moment, Becky encouraged Anya to take the opportunity to ask Damian to be her dance partner. Anya was determined to do something special for her father, so she mustered all her courage and walked up to Damian. She asked him if he would be her dance partner for the Gala. Everyone was curious to see what Damian would say.
But as many had guessed, Damian seemed flustered. He stumbled over his words and politely declined her request. Then, without wasting a moment, he hurried away, leaving Anya standing there feeling a bit disappointed.
However she wasn’t going to let this setback stop her from helping her father. On the day of the Gala, Damian found himself bombarded with requests to dance, but he wasn’t keen on dancing with anyone.
Meanwhile, Anya started getting her fair share of offers too. This seemed to make Damian a bit jealous, and he even tried to intervene when one boy approached Anya with a proposal. However, without a solid reason, Damian ended up backing out.
As the evening went on, more boys came forward to ask Anya to dance, but she turned them all down. She made it clear that she only had her eyes set on Damian for a dance partner.
Right after that, as the number of girls asking Damian to dance increased, Emile and Ewen took it upon themselves to organize a competition to pick Damian’s dance partner.
Anya decided to take part in this. Meanwhile, Loid Forger, who had disguised himself as a waiter, decided to help her.
Expectation
Spy x Family chapter 96 will continue right where the last chapter left off. Fans might get to see the competition that Emile and Ewen organized to choose Damian’s dance partner for the Gala party.
In this competition, it’s very likely that Loid will do everything he can to help his daughter win. However, we’ll have to wait and see whether Damian will pay any attention to wins the competition. He might just decide to ignore it completely and opt out of dancing at the Gala party.
