Actors Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol are currently in discussions to take on roles in director Han Jae-rim’s forthcoming film “Hypnosis,” as disclosed by a spokesperson from Showbox to Newsen on March 6th.

“Hypnosis” is adapted from the Naver webtoon of identical title. The narrative revolves around a painter commissioned to create a portrait of a mesmerizing woman.

However, as time progresses, he reveals her true identity and encounters enigmatic events. The storyline delves into the painter’s fascination with the woman.

Director Han Jae-rim, renowned for works such as “The Face Reader,” “The King,” and “Emergency Declaration,” will lead the project. Although the decision to adapt the webtoon into a visual production has been finalized, whether it will be crafted as a film or a drama remains undecided.
