Next month, Stray Kids will debut their first Japanese drama OST single, “WHY?” The announcement came on March 23 KST via their official Japanese social media platforms.

The track will accompany the Fuji TV Thursday Theater drama ‘Re: Revenge – At the End of Desire,’ scheduled to premiere on April 11.

“WHY?” marks not only their debut Japanese drama OST single but also a production by their in-house team, 3RACHA.

Described as a potent blend of powerful sound and dystopian mood, the song delves into themes of overcoming obstacles in pursuit of one’s goals.

The members expressed their anticipation, saying,

“We are excited for our first Japanese drama OST work. We prepared the lyrics to express the protagonist’s journey, and we hope that, along with ‘WHY?’, viewers will also enjoy the depth and worldview of the drama.”

Meanwhile, “WHY?” is set for official release at midnight on April 12, immediately following the drama’s premiere broadcast.
