Streaming Milestones: BLACKPINK & Fifth Harmony in Spotify History

BLACKPINK continues to make history on major music platforms like Spotify. According to Spotify’s latest update, their track “Kill This Love” has crossed the 800 million streams mark, establishing them as the sole K-pop girl group with two songs achieving this feat.

Additionally, their song “How You Like That” has exceeded an impressive 1 billion streams.

Recently, BLACKPINK matched a record previously held by Fifth Harmony, with both groups boasting two songs each that have surpassed 800 million streams on Spotify.

For BLACKPINK, these songs are “How You Like That” and “Kill This Love,” while Fifth Harmony achieved this milestone with “Worth It” and “Work from Home.”

This achievement breaks BLACKPINK’s previous tie with Lisa and Fifty Fifty for the same milestone.

BLACKPINK’s ‘BORN PINK’ album has climbed the ranks to become the third most streamed studio album by a female group on Spotify, accumulating 2.4 billion streams.

Surpassing Fifth Harmony’s ‘7/27,’ which has 2.3 billion streams. Notably, the top spot for the most streamed studio album on Spotify is secured by another BLACKPINK album, “The Album,” boasting an impressive 3.33 billion streams.
