The main male for Suits L.A. has been discovered. The universe of the original series, which surged in popularity when it was made available on streaming services last year, is expanded upon by the impending Suits spinoff. The USA network’s original run of Suits ran for nine seasons until ending in 2019.

The program was successful, but when Suits was introduced to Netflix, fans’ interest was piqued again, leading to a record-breaking streaming run and rumors of a Los Angeles-based spinoff. Following those discussions, there was a formal green light, and work is now moving more quickly.

According to Deadline, Stephen Amell will play Ted Black, “a charismatic force of nature who puts his own needs above others,” in the television series Suits L.A.

Together with his old friend Stuart Lane, the former New York prosecutor established an entertainment and criminal law practice in Los Angeles fifteen years ago. In Vancouver, the spinoff’s production is expected to start in March.

Amell has a lengthy television career that spans two decades and includes guest appearances on more than thirty programs. His most well-known character is Oliver Queen from The CW’s Arrowverse television series.

Amell portrayed Oliver Queen in the television series Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman. More recently, Amell starred in the two-season Starz television wrestling series Heels, which was canceled in 2023.

One thing is certain, however questionable the return of Macht and other original cast members may be: a new era for the Suits series is upon us.
