KBS 2TV’s much-anticipated drama, “Beauty and the Devoted” (literal translation), has officially solidified its supporting cast, adding depth to the love story that revolves around an actress facing a sudden downfall and a devoted producing director who helps her rise again.

Im Soo Hyang takes on the role of Park Do Ra, a resilient top actress who, despite numerous challenges, has built a successful filmography since childhood under the guidance of her mother.

Juggling a 15-year career, Park Do Ra, as the head of her household, has supported her family while grappling with the demands placed upon her by her mother. The narrative takes an unexpected turn when she encounters the youngest assistant director, Go Pil Seung, on a drama set, leading to unforeseen events in her life.

The cast is further enriched with Cha Hwa Yeon portraying Baek Mi Ja, Park Do Ra’s mother, whose life takes a positive turn when her daughter becomes an overnight star.

Park Sang Won embodies Gong Jin Taek, the chairman of APP Group, while Lee Il Hwa takes on the role of Jang Soo Yeon, Gong Jin Taek’s wife. Their characters showcase a contrast between a charismatic and rational professional life and a loving family dynamic.
