KBS’s forthcoming drama, “A Profitable Cage,” offers a sneak peek into its storyline with the release of its inaugural teaser. The drama, categorized as a romance series, follows the journey of a renowned doctor who faces a fall from grace.

Portrayed by T-ara’s Ham Eun Jung, and a fledgling doctor, played by Baek Sung Hyun. Together, they navigate the complexities of building an unconventional family.

The teaser opens by introducing Jin Su Ji (Ham Eun Jung), a distinguished psychiatrist who enjoys celebrity status. Her accolades are evident through frequent appearances on television, magazine covers, and social media.

Known for her popularity, Jin Su Ji holds the power to significantly boost viewership ratings for any program she appears on. Her role as an MC has further solidified her standing in the industry.

In the midst of cheerfully addressing her fans with words of encouragement, Jin Su Ji encounters an unexpected disruption. Dr. Chae Woo Ri (Baek Sung Hyun), a rookie doctor, emerges as her complete opposite.

In an abrupt confrontation, Chae Woo Ri seemingly calls off Jin Su Ji’s shoot, expressing frustration, “I can’t do this anymore. You said this would only take a moment, but how many hours has it been now?”

Chae Woo Ri directs his discontent towards Jin Su Ji, questioning, “Are you a doctor or a celebrity? Look at my dark circles from counselling [patients].” In response, Jin Su Ji asserts her seniority, leading Chae Woo Ri to address the camera, exclaiming, “Everyone, this is what Jin Su Ji is like!”
