Adapted from a well-known online novel and written by Lee Si Eun, the author of “True Beauty”, “Lovely Runner” is a fresh romantic drama that makes us question: “If given a chance, what would you do to save your ultimate bias?”
Kim Hye Yoon takes on the lead role of Im Sol, an enthusiastic fan heartbroken by the death of her beloved celebrity Ryu Sun Jae (Byun Woo Seok). She travels back in time to alter his fate and save him.
The recently released teaser video showcases two high school students, Ryu Sun Jae and Im Sol, who are both 19 years old. In a twist of events, Im Sol travels back 15 years in time and meets her favourite, Ryu Sun Jae.
She greets him by saying, “I am Sol from the year 2023.” Sun Jae responds with disbelief, “You must be out of your mind,” and the two engage in a playful argument.
In a later part of the video, Im Sol speaks with deep significance, stating, “If ever you feel like giving up, hold on for just one more day. In doing so, I will be able to travel back in time and rescue you,” heightening the audience’s interest in the story that will alter destiny in the upcoming events.
The highly anticipated drama, “Lovely Runner,” is set to air on April 8 at 8:50 p.m. KST, immediately following the finale of “Wedding Impossible.” Check out another preview here!
