The Lagina brothers’ search for the 200-year-old treasure continues as they come across discoveries each day. With Marty and Rick Lagina calling in new experts to work on the Garden Shaft and other areas, they might be closer to the legendary treasure than ever before. 

The Curse of Oak Island is all about the Lagina brothers and their intriguing search for a centuries-old treasure said to be on Oak Island. Located off the shore of Nova Scotia, this mystical land is believed to be holding priceless treasure that has so far claimed the lives of 6 men. Despite the hurdles, Rick and Marty Lagina do everything they can to keep the search going. 

So far, the Lagina brothers’ notable discoveries have been a Spanish coin dating back to the 17th century, a mysterious manuscript, a bone fragment that belonged to a Middle Eastern person, a Roman Sword, and countless other ancient objects. 

Recap

Marty and Rick Lagina head over to one of the most inhabitable places on the entire island, the triangle-shaped swamp. They had come across a new excavation while working the swamp, which was an ancient set of chains that researchers believed could be as old as the 16th century. 

The crew finds an axe cut wood, which could hint towards the presence of something big within the area. The soil was layered too, showing that some things weren’t natural in the triangle swamp. Dr. Spooner came up with the theory that someone could have constructed the artificial stone road to make it easy to transport valuable items.

Marty and Craig then come back to the Money Pit and meet up with people from Dumas Contracting Limited. Along with Minova Global, these were companies that were experienced enough in underground constructions and could easily work on the shaft in the Money Pit. 

The Lagina brothers recently came across a tunnel that leads to an area called the Baby Blob which also had high concentrations of elements and was almost 80-120 feet deep. The construction company will fill the shaft with a substance called geofoam. This foam will seal the Garden Shaft and make it easier for the brothers to expand it or move through it. 

Back in the 19th century, two men came across some gold and pieces of paper near a borehole in Oak Island, which Marty and Rick Lagina now own. While searching the local area, the Lagina brothers were able to find pieces of paper and some leather too. The Lagina brothers and their construction teams continue the search on Oak Island.

Rick, Marty, and their teams are hard at work at the elusive tunnel which is located at the Money Pit. The water sampled from this Oak Island tunnel seemed to be high in traces of gold and other valuable elements, making the belief of treasure being there much stronger. 

While searching for other historical items at various lots, the crew finds new clues on the Island’s lot 5, giving the Lagina brothers hope to find something new soon.

With great companies like Minova and Dumas’s contractors working with them, the Lagina brothers have been able to continue their search much more efficiently. Using Muon technology helped them locate the spots that could potentially hold something valuable. Now, all Rick and Marty Lagina need to do is reach those spots somehow and see if the data was right.
