Treasure seekers have been drawn to Oak Island, a tree-covered island on Nova Scotia’s south shore, for over 200 years. In fact, a lot of people think that one of history’s greatest treasures is hidden beneath the surface of this isolated island.

In an effort to unravel the long-standing mystery, Rick and Marty Lagina, two brothers from Michigan, have purchased the rights to a large portion of the island. The two look for the treasure using both American expertise and contemporary technology.

It won’t be simple, though, as the search has shown to be risky and expensive. On Oak Island, many people have lost their lives while searching for treasure. The brothers are hoping to evade the curse long enough to locate the treasure.
