In a big fight between Heaven and Hell, Hell is not doing so well. A demon named Masatora Akutsu decides to come to Earth in disguise as a student.
His plan to find some really charming humans to join Hell’s side. He wants to boost their numbers and make Hell feel better about the whole situation.
Masatora Akutsu, the demon, falls head over heels for a student named Lily Amane. He tries to recruit her to join Hell, but Lily surprises him she’s actually a tough undercover angel on a mission to hunt demons.
She defeats Akutsu but decides to spare his life. Instead, she puts a collar on him that makes him do whatever she says.
While Akutsu plans to break free from the collar, Lily has her own plans. She wants to use him as a way to change things up in Heaven.
Akutsu approaches Lily, hoping she can inspire the demons to fight better. But in a twist, Lily, who’s pretending to be just a regular girl, reveals her true identity as an angel.
She uses her powerful heavenly chains to capture Akutsu, much to his surprise. Even though Lily’s main job is to purify demons, she seems to have something else in mind for Akutsu.
Now, chained up by Lily’s heavenly powers, Akutsu is left wondering what she has planned for him. Will he be able to escape her grasp, or is there something more to Lily’s intentions?
Recap
Lily fainted after she and Akutsu fought against her avatar. Akutsu then took her home. When Akutsu was about to leave, Lily stopped him with shaky hands.
Seeing this, Akutsu decided to stay and sat down on her bedroom floor. As Akutsu sat there, he thought about the incident and wondered if this was a common problem in heaven.
His conscience kept telling him that he was in love with Lily and that she felt the same way about him. Lily wakes up and takes a moment to realize that Akutsu is still there.
Remembering how she stopped him from leaving, she feels shocked and ashamed of her actions. Lily sees Akutsu’s wound and understands that he got hurt while protecting her.
She helps him by putting a bandage on the wound and thanks him. Then, she remembers her promise to give Akutsu a hug every time he did something good, and she feels embarrassed.
Just when Lily is thinking about giving him a hug, Akutsu asks for one in his sleep. This surprises Lily and confuses her. She’s not sure whether she should hug him or not.
Lily sits down next to Akutsu, who unexpectedly hugs her while he’s asleep. Feeling peaceful, she remembers she needs to change the color of Akutsu’s tattoo.
Lily imagines Akutsu carrying her home like a princess, and this thought makes her blush and feel flustered. Akutsu wakes up and finds himself tied up in chains, but he’s thankful to Lily for bandaging his wound earlier.
When Lily wakes up, she sees Akutsu making breakfast and tea for her. They have a playful conversation while eating breakfast and then head out together. However, on their way to school, they are spotted by Yuka and Ken.
Expectations
Lily and Akutsu find their feelings growing stronger, yet they continue to miss opportunities to be together. Despite the heartwarming moments they share, a reality check may be imminent.
Lily, embodying an angelic nature, stands in stark contrast to Akutsu’s devilish demeanor naturally, they should be adversaries.
However, they unexpectedly find themselves aiding one another, defying their inherent natures. Though their emotions run deep, they are unable to act upon them.
Adding to the complexity, Lily’s sister has dispatched their brother to check on Lily, potentially leading to complications for both Lily and Akutsu.
Furthermore, Ken and Yuka witnessed Lily and Akutsu leaving Lily’s house together early in the morning, which caused several misunderstandings. To lead a peaceful life, both Lily and Akutsu will also need to address and clarify this situation.
