The website for the Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction anime just announced that the second part’s release date is pushed back to May 24, 2024.
This anime is based on a manga by Inio Asano, the same person who created Solanin and Downfall. Originally, the second part was supposed to come out on April 19, after the first part premieres in Japan on March 22.
But now, they’re delaying it to make sure it meets everyone’s expectations better. If you already bought tickets in advance, don’t worry, you can still use them for the new release date.
Also, they’ve shown a poster visual for the second part. Inio Asano’s fourth series, Dead Dead Demon’s Dededede Destruction, was published in Shogakukan’s Big Comic Spirits magazine from 2014 to 2022.
It ran for 100 chapters before being compiled into 12 tankobon volumes.
