As Cody Rhodes was talking about his preparations for WrestleMania 40 at the beginning of the event, the drama started when The Rock—ominously called The Final Boss—suddenly appeared. The Rock’s menacing threats to “make Rhodes bleed” set the tone for the violence that would ensue.

As promised, The Rock made a reappearance later in the performance, ambushing Rhodes backstage while he was engaged in combat with Bloodline members. After that, The Rock attacked without stopping, beating and bleeding Rhodes until he was completely destroyed.

In his vicious assault, The Rock spared no detail, throwing Rhodes into the hard parking lot surfaces and hitting him with powerful blows. He even further humiliated Rhodes by using a specially made belt, leaving him sprawled in a pool of his own blood, adding insult to injury.

Following the startling attack, The Rock addressed the situation on social media, reaffirming his word and emphasizing that Rhodes’ actions had left him with no option but to respond in this way.

With everyone watching to see how this passionate feud ends at WrestleMania 40, Cody Rhodes will be the center of attention as he tries to bounce back from this terrible attack and take on The Final Boss one more.

The future RAW promises to include a match of epic proportions between The Rock and Roman Reigns, Rhodes’ opponent at WrestleMania.
