Tom Payne, 41, and his wife Jennifer Åkerman, 34, are celebrating the arrival of twins. The couple, who are already parents to their son Harrison, who was born in January 2022, expressed their joy and surprise at the twin’s arrival on April 1st, 2024.

“It was an entirely unexpected and wonderful surprise,” they stated. “Harrison is thrilled to have two new siblings.”

The couple humorously suggested that their son might have played a role in the twins’ arrival, loving the lively household atmosphere.

Alongside their family news, Payne and Åkerman announced the launch of their new podcast, ‘California Dreamin’,’ which will give listeners a peek into their life adjustments and experiences in Los Angeles, now as a family of five.

Their personal journey continues from their podcast to their vow renewal. Originally set to wed in April 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic pushed their plans, leading to a December 2020 wedding.

They renewed their vows in a splendid ceremony on November 12 at The Foundry in Queens, New York, surrounded by friends and family, including Malin Åkerman, Tyson Ritter, Elena Satine, Bellamy Young, Jamie Chung, Jimmy Akingbola, and Henry Conway.

Sharing their happiness on social media, Payne wrote, “I can’t believe you’re here. We love you immeasurably and will always be there for you… Thank you so much to everyone at Cedars Sinai, our amazing doula Carmen and all of our friends and family for the support.
