In The Witch and the Beast Episode 9, we saw Guideau fighting the Demon Sword Ashgan. By kissing Helga, Guideau broke her curse for a short while and regained control of her real body.

She used her strength to overpower the Demon Sword’s true form. At the same time, Matt Cugar caught the Executioners and vowed to make them suffer greatly.

Meanwhile, Ashaf pledged to aid Helga as part of the Order. With such an exciting ending to the episode, fans are eagerly anticipating what will unfold in Episode 10 of The Witch and the Beast.

Starting right where the last episode left off, Episode 9 of The Witch and the Beast begins with Guideau’s true self breaking free from the sealed coffin, while her female body falls unconscious.

Matt Cugar senses a disturbing coldness and realizes that the Demon Sword has ceased its movements. Ashaf advises Guideau against using her right arm because he intends to capture the Demon Sword alive.

When Helga questions whether Guideau’s monstrous form can contend with such a powerful entity like the Demonic Sword, Ashaf reassures her that the abilities of the Demon Sword aren’t particularly special.

The episode features an intense battle between Guideau and the Demon Sword. Matt Cugat also jumps into the fray, using the formidable power of his ice elemental abilities.

Matt notices that his ice elemental seems more cautious of Guideau than the Demon Sword. Despite this, he summons a barrage of icicles and mist-like creatures made of ice to try and defeat the Demon Sword Ashgan.

However, the demonic entity effortlessly crushes his ice attacks. During the battle, Guideau and the others observe an increase in the Demon Sword’s power.

Ashaf speculates that because the sword has been sealed for a long time, it hasn’t fully regained its true strength yet. However, Guideau’s monstrous left-arm punch still manages to defeat the demonic form.

In a flashback scene, we learn that a witch from Helga’s clan sealed the Demon Sword Ashgan because it had killed numerous people.

She wished for the blade to suffer eternally. Meanwhile, the leader of the Executioners attempts to enter an area guarded by the Paladins.

Guideau hurls stones from a distance, obliterating the limbs of the Executioner leader, ensuring he never reaches his destination.

Afterwards, Matt Cugat captures the culprits, including his female subordinate. She then consults Helga about what to do with the Executioners.

The witch responds that she’s had her fill of bloodshed but insists that Matt Cugat makes sure the culprits suffer.

As Matt Cugat departs with the prisoners, Ashaf pledges to protect Helga and expresses hope that she will use her power to help.

Ashaf also discloses that the Demon Sword is alive because Guideau only used her left arm instead of her right arm.

While it’s unconscious, the Order can repair the blade. The episode ends with the spirit of the Demon Sword, Ashgan, reflecting that he has indeed been cursed by a witch.
