Rea informed Marina that they would not be able to meet for a while because she was leaving for the capital soon assured Marina she would be fine, and suggested she take good care of herself until her return.

Marina was surprised that Rea was leaving again, after spending time with Rea. Marina realized that she was relying too much on Rea, she was scared and ashamed of herself.

She climbed into the carriage that was supposed to take her to the capital. After arriving at the capital Andrea got introduced to Derhan who was the head maid of the royal palace.

She had already heard about Andrea from General Adelburg. She warned Andrea that she should not bring shame to the royal palace.

The dukedom of Adelburg roasted a huge estate but it was a mere cottage compared to the royal palace. It was the fanciest place she had ever laid her eyes upon.

It was filled with lavish items, which were most likely the spoils of war. Andrea was destined to become like one of them, but she realized that nothing was new.

All her life everyone treated her as if she was a cattle. Derhan told Andrea to get dressed properly and suggested she clean up before she met with his majesty.

Andrea was surprised that they were taking her to meet him already. Andrea knew that she had to put on her garments, she considered that the fabric was too luxurious for a mere slave.

The new king of Ragenia was a bloodthirsty conqueror who was soon going to reign over the entire continent. Derhan informed his majesty that Duke Adelburg had sent over a new maid for him.

Andrea was petrified but she was also curious, she was wondering who that man was curious what he looked like. Andrea was aware that he was the same guy who had ruined her family and wreaked havoc on Gretz.

But in her mind, she became blank the moment she saw his face. It turned out that Kahir was the prince, the same guy she had been pinning over.

She decided to keep her face down, Kahir told Derhan that it was very strange. Because Heres had not mentioned bringing a slave girl, he was wondering what he had under his sleeve.

Kahir’s counselor advised Derhan that she should let his majesty go, and mentioned to her that his majesty and he were in the middle of something important.

Kahir told his counsel to give up, and Andrea was glad that Kahir did not recognize her. Kahir told the counselor they did not need to be impatience because they were not in a rush for the wedding.
