Tokyo Vice’s second season is getting more dramatic as Hayama asserts his newly acquired control. Nevertheless, a major conflict is threatened by the reappearance of another gang boss. Detectives Nagata and Hiroto use the arrests of more than twenty members to demonstrate their strategy. With Tozawa back, episode four, “Like a New Man,” looks to be intense.

When Tozawa’s group went to the Kabukicho to claim their cut of the money, they discovered they had become members of the Chihara-kai. They are able to sneak in when the woman in charge reminds him that Tozawaa has been missing. Yabuki calls his troops together to discuss their actions in the Kabukicho. The group questions why he lets Chihara-kai run over them, but Yabuki asserts that he is the leader and that they must do what he says.

Samantha’s club is having some issues because to Hayama’s presence. When she asks Sato for assistance, he tells her that he needs something in return. She declines when Sato suggests that she spy on Masahito Ohno. He informs her that because Samantha fired Claudine for working for them to obtain the information, she is at a loss for options.

When Samantha and Ishida meet, she offers to give him everything he wants in exchange for complete ownership of the club, and he accepts. Hiroto and Detective Nagata intend to raid Hishinuma’s residence in order to apprehend him and everyone who stands in their way. When they get there, Hiroto informs them that since Mr. Shibuya was arrested while performing work for Hishinuma, his employer is also subject to an arrest warrant.

As a result, 24 individuals are taken into custody, and Nagata declares that the fight against gangs is only getting started. When the well-known gang boss is taken into custody, Jake’s job as a motorcycle gang member takes a bad turn. He tries to ask the paper for assistance, but they say no. When they finally get back together, he asks Sato to watch out for Tat while he’s in jail, and Sato agrees.

Now that Tozawa is not involved, Jake and Misaki reignite their romance and continue to develop their bond. He brings her to a big work gathering, but when she runs afraid and spots someone who could know her, things go south quickly. We see that Tozawa has returned from his absence when she arrives home.
