Train to the End of the World TV Anime Releases a New Trailer, Revealing its Release Date

The anticipation for the upcoming original TV anime, “Train to the End of the World” (“Where Does the Doomsday Train Go?”), ramps up as a new trailer drops, introducing fresh faces and musical talent to the mix.

Set to premiere in Japan on April 1, 2024, the series promises an exhilarating journey, streaming concurrently on Crunchyroll as part of their spring 2024 anime simulcast lineup.

Among the latest additions are two cast members, bringing their vocal prowess to the characters:

Nao Toyama, known for her role as Celestine in “I Shall Survive Using Potions!”, lends her voice to the character Yoka Nakatomi.

Yoko is portrayed as a young Japanese girl with striking red eyes, adorned in a traditional sailor fuku school uniform and thigh-high stockings.

Kazuyuki Okitsu, recognized for his portrayal of Eden Vallock in “Metallic Rouge”, takes on the role of Zenjiro. Zenjiro is depicted as a diminutive, elderly man with a stooped posture, distinguished by gray hair and a prominent scar across his forehead, attired in a classic train conductor’s uniform.

Adding to the excitement is the revelation of Rokudenashi as the performer of the series ending theme, titled “Eureka”.

The creative helm of “Train to the End of the World” is steered by Tsutomu Mizushima, known for works like “GIRLS und PANZER” and “The Magnificent KOTOBUKI”, directing under animation studio EMT Squared.

Michiko Yokote, renowned for her contributions to “Heaven’s Design Team”, helms the series composition.

Original character designs are crafted by Namo, while Asako Nishida assumes the dual role of character designs and chief animation director. The musical landscape is orchestrated by Miho Tsujibayashi.
