The television adaptation began with its first season in the summer of 2021, produced by C2C and comprising 12 episodes. Following its initial success, J.C.Staff took over production for the second season, which extended to 25 episodes. Crunchyroll provided streaming services for international audiences, offering subtitles and an English dub concurrent with the Japanese broadcast.

In addition to the anime, Tsukimichi has expanded its reach through a manga adaptation illustrated by Kotora Kino, serialized in AlphaPolis Web Manga magazine since June 2015. The manga, which recently shipped its 13th volume in December, has contributed to the franchise’s growing popularity.

Furthermore, Hanashi Media has licensed the light novels for English publication, with the first volume released on March 30. English-speaking audiences also have access to the manga adaptation through the Alpha Manga app, solidifying Tsukimichi’s presence in the global market.

With the announcement of a third season, fans can anticipate further adventures and developments in the vibrant world of Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy. The series continues to captivate audiences with its engaging storytelling and richly imagined universe, promising more excitement to come for both existing fans and newcomers alike.
