Let me put it this way, the last Episode so far was my least favorite episode of the season. It wasn’t bad, and not every episode is going to be a 10 out of 10. This was a mix of semi-fillers but there were some specific setups for plot points as the season moves form.
That isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it’s just that this episode was kind of Meh. It had its moments here and there, but for the most part, it was pretty standard stuff.
I will say this much, the background music choices were on point for this episode. I think one of my favorite music cues was The Boss music that was playing as Fatima just came up into Hayden’s office, stared him down, sat down, and put her feet up; that entire sequence, I feel, was my favorite handful of seconds from the episode.
Recap
Before diving into Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 7 Episode 5, let’s quickly recap and review the previous episode. For whatever reason, and I know the writer said that they’ll explain Zac’s mixed signals as the season goes on.
I have praised the writers for many reasons this season so far. But the way Zachary Taylor has been written, I am not a fan of it.
It feels like they just reset his character entirely, and at this point, hell, the only thing that’s different between Zac now in season seven from the Zach of the early season of the show is that he hasn’t cheated on his partner yet.
I mean, at this point, I’m just waiting for him to sleep with some random chick. Because it feels like all the growth and the therapies that he had is gone completely out the window. But don’t get me wrong, I love seeing him and Danny together.
Fatima and Andy gleefully scheme after Leland’s death. My initial thought was it’s pretty messed up the way they were doing after Leland died. I don’t know who was worse for Fatima or Andy.
Now, on the one hand, I thought it was really messed up. But on the other, it’s very realistic in a workplace setting. That’s why you see those quotes like “Don’t put your everything into your job because if you die right now, by tomorrow, your job posting will be up online before your obituaries are ever written”.
It’s accurate, I mean, especially in fast-paced multi-billion dollar companies like the law firm, if somebody croaks or is removed from their position, whether because they step down or they’re terminated, that job posting is going up immediately.
But to me, I know this is an unpopular opinion, and I do not think Andrea Barnes deserves that position as the Managing partner.
A lot more happened in previous episodes, but now let’s discuss when Episode 5 of Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 7 will be released and what will happen in it.

At the time of writing, 6 episodes are scheduled for this season, and we think there will be only 23 episodes like the previous seasons.
The Synopsis of Episode 5 is as follows: “Danni is reluctant to go back to counseling unless she discloses any past trauma that may have contributed to her current decisions..”
