Usher clarified that they had worked out with Justin, but it seemed Bieber wanted to tell a different story at the moment. Usher emphasized that there’s no love lost, and they had a brief conversation about collaborating on something else in the future. He acknowledged the pressure of putting together a Super Bowl show and mentioned reaching out to various artists.

While Bieber didn’t join the halftime show, Usher predicted that fans would eventually see Bieber perform at the Super Bowl, expressing confidence in Bieber’s deserving career. Usher also revealed that Justin was not the only artist he spoke to about the Super Bowl, and the moment for their collaboration might come later.

The halftime show in Las Vegas featured appearances by Alicia Keys, H.E.R., Lil Jon, and Ludacris, receiving positive reviews despite Bieber’s absence.

In attendance at the game, Justin Bieber expressed support for Usher on Instagram. Usher predicts that fans will witness Bieber’s performance at a future Super Bowl halftime show, acknowledging Bieber’s prolific career deserving of the NFL’s grand stage. Usher confidently states, “He’s going to play the Super Bowl,” emphasizing Bieber’s worthiness.
