Tom was uncomfortable, but he hoped to turn it into a positive by acknowledging his advancement. One of Tom’s few pals stopped by when he got back to Los Angeles to inquire about how things had been going.
When the incident affected their joint enterprise, Schwartz & Sandy’s, a bit, Tom’s trainer, Jason, inquired about his relationship with Tom Schwartz. Tom said that he understood why his best friend and business partner was hurting, even though he was disappointed that Schwartz hadn’t been defending him in the media.
