Plot
The film will center around Blanchett’s character, Lilith, a skilled bounty hunter with an enigmatic past. Reluctantly returning to her home planet Pandora, she embarks on a mission to locate the missing daughter of Atlas, portrayed by Edgar Ramírez. Along the way, Lilith forms an unlikely alliance with a diverse group of misfits, as revealed in a news release.
“Together, these unlikely heroes must battle an alien species and dangerous bandits to uncover one of Pandora’s most explosive secrets. The fate of the universe could be in their hands – but they’ll be fighting for something more: each other,” a news release said.
In the original 2009 game, players assume the role of one of four Vault Hunters. They engage in battles against a multitude of adversaries, ranging from bandits to monstrous creatures, utilizing an assortment of weapons and unique super abilities specific to each character.
