Writer Nyalra announced on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday that he is overseeing, crafting the original concept, and scripting a 13-episode television anime. Alongside the announcement, he shared a photo showcasing his involvement in the project, along with character design sheets, although he kept the anime’s title concealed.

In his post, Nyalra revealed that he has recently completed all the scripts for the anime, pledging to “work as hard as he can” to bring the project to fruition within two years, with further details set to be disclosed next year.

In a subsequent blog post, Nyalra disclosed that he has been working on the scripts for a year, emphasizing that while the scripts are “completed,” he still anticipates the need to revise or refine certain sections. He acknowledged a particular desire to revise the first episode, noting that the story’s outline became clearer to him as he progressed, especially in contrast to the initial stages.

Insight into the Production of the Upcoming Anime “KILLTUBE”

Nyalra, renowned for his work as the scenario writer for Xemono’s Needy Streamer Overload game, disclosed intriguing details about the production of the upcoming anime.

He revealed that each participating company contributed over 100 million yen (approximately US$660,000) towards the anime’s production. Notably, one stipulation for the anime’s creation was that Nyalra himself would craft all the scripts, a condition he imposed to ensure the integrity of the narrative.

Expressing his meticulous approach, Nyalra emphasized his focus on anime backgrounds, indicating his upcoming trip to the Netherlands to capture location reference photos. This commitment underscores his dedication to maintaining authenticity and attention to detail in the anime’s visual elements.

Expansion of the “Needy Streamer Overload” Franchise

Needy Streamer Overload, released by WSS Playground and Xemono, made a significant impact upon its simultaneous launch in English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean on PC via Steam in January 2022. The game garnered widespread acclaim for its innovative gameplay and engaging storyline.

The success of the game paved the way for a manga adaptation titled Needy Girl Overdose: Run with My Sick, penned by Itaru Bonnoki, known for his work on The Vampire Dies in No Time.

Serialized on Akita Shoten’s Manga Cross website since March 2023, the manga offers fans an extensive and intriguing world of Needy Streamer Overload, expanding the franchise’s reach across multiple media platforms.
