When you think about troublemakers, groups, school, and anime, the first anime that pops up is Tokyo Revengers. This series is super famous for its tough characters.

It’s got a whopping 1.2 million fans on MyAnimeList (MAL).After Tokyo Revengers season 3 came out in October 2023, there wasn’t much else in the delinquent series department.

The Winter anime season brought us Bucchigiri, but it didn’t catch on with fans. It got a so-so rating of 6.66/10, which is below average.

But this Spring, things are looking up with Wind Breaker hitting the screens. It’s a gorgeously animated series by CloverWorks, the same team behind Bocchi the Rock, Spy x Family, and Horimiya.

Wind Breaker is doing pretty well with a rating of 7.95/10 on MyAnimeList, which actually beats Tokyo Revengers’ 7.93/10. The anime just dropped its second episode, and fans are loving it, which shot up the ratings.

Lots of fans were holding their breath to see if episode 2 would keep up the hype, because sometimes anime drop off after the first episode.

But Wind Breaker’s second episode kept things strong with a great storyline and top-notch animation. Wind Breaker follows the story of Haruka Sakura, who faced bullying and neglect because of his unique appearance.

He had black and white hair, pupils, and different-colored eyes. The only way Sakura knew to handle this was through fighting, so that’s exactly what he did.
