TVING has released new stills from the upcoming drama “Pyramid Game,” based on the webtoon of the same name. Set in an all-girls high school, the thriller revolves around a monthly popularity vote in Class 2-5, where receiving an F grade designates students as targets of school violence.

Bona from WJSN takes the lead as Sung Su Ji, a second-year student marked as the pyramid game target upon transferring to Baekyeon Girls’ High School. Determined to break the cycle, Su Ji becomes the leader of a rebellion against the pyramid system.

Jang Da Ah plays Baek Ha Rin, a beloved student in Class 2-5, while Ryu Da In portrays Myung Ja Eun, a loner stuck in an F grade. Shin Seul Gi is the class president Seo Do Ah, Kang Na Eon and Ha Yul Ri take on the roles of Im Ye Rim and Bang Woo Yi, respectively.

The released stills depict the intense pyramid game, resembling a war, played monthly in Class 2-5. Students, including Su Ji, Ha Rin, Ja Eun, Do Ah, and Ye Rim, showcase different expressions during the event.

Serious faces appear on Su Ji and Ja Eun, both at risk, while Ha Rin, consistently at the top, wears a relaxed smile. Class president Do Ah observes with an inscrutable expression.

Another set captures the aftermath, revealing the contrasting reactions of the students after the game results are announced. Su Ji, now a victim of bullying, finds herself isolated, while Ha Rin’s unexpected behaviour leaves others bewildered.

The production team commented on the dynamic portrayal of the pyramid game’s mind games and the struggle between those defending and challenging the system.

They aim to not only thrill viewers but also convey a meaningful message through the students’ transformative journey.
