TVING has unveiled the main trailer for its highly anticipated drama “Pyramid Game,” adapted from the webtoon of the same name. Set in an all-girls high school, the thriller revolves around the disturbing monthly ritual in Class 2-5, where students grade each other through a popularity vote.

Those who receive an F grade become the target of school violence, initiating a chilling cycle. WJSN’s Bona takes on the role of Sung Su Ji, a second-year student who becomes the immediate target of the pyramid game upon transferring to Baekyeon Girls’ High School.

Determined to break the twisted system, Sung Su Ji sets out to lead a rebellion.

The newly released trailer delves into the rules of the pyramid game, where students are graded A through D based on their votes, creating a temporary caste system within the class.

The F grade signifies those who receive zero votes, like Sung Su Ji, subjecting them to the deprivation of basic human rights.

Myung Ja Eun, a loner played by Ryu Da In, expresses surprise to Sung Su Ji, asking, “You’re F, too?” In response, Sung Su Ji proposes recruiting Myung Ja Eun, stating, “Let’s get rid of the pyramid game.

This game’s system is flawed. The pressure, anxiety, and fear of being betrayed will work, 100 per cent.”

As a victim protests against brutal school violence, she is callously told, “If you don’t like it, get a higher rank!” Sung Su Ji, determined to disrupt the order, declares, “I’m going to disrupt the order.”

In a chilling exchange, popular student Baek Ha Rin (Jang Da Ah) reassures Sung Su Ji, “Endure it just a little longer. It’s not your fault.” However, Sung Su Ji questions the very nature of the game, asking Baek Ha Rin, “Why play this kind of game at all? Don’t you have more to lose than to gain?”

Yet, as the game intensifies, Baek Ha Rin claims, “It’s not me who’s judging you. It’s the game.” Sung Su Ji defiantly responds, “Then I’ll just smash the pyramid.”

“Pyramid Game” is set to premiere on February 29, promising a gripping narrative that explores the dark side of high school dynamics.

As the trailer unfolds, viewers are given a glimpse into the intense conflicts and psychological challenges that will shape the series.
