MBC’s Wonderful World takes a suspenseful turn as Soo Hyun finds her husband in a messy situation. Eun Soo Hyun (played by Kim Nam Joo), a well-liked teacher and writer, faces a tough time when her son experiences an injustice that the law couldn’t fix. Feeling sad, she decided to take action herself to make things right for her son.
Despite her own sadness, she found comfort in supporting others going through similar tough times. However, seeing her son’s unfair situation made her lose faith in fairness. Despite this, she was determined to uncover the truth and fight against deceit and corruption.
Even though she was struggling, helping others in similar situations gave her a sense of purpose. Eun Soo Hyun wanted to honor her son’s memory and bring fairness back into the world, no matter how hard it seemed.
Wonderful World Episode 4 Recap
Soo-Hyun, played by Kim Nam-Joo, faces a challenging situation upon receiving an envelope containing a photo of her husband with another woman. Initially troubled by suspicions of infidelity, she discovers the photo was taken during their separation while she was in prison. Despite the hurt, Soo-Hyun chooses to forgive him, recognizing the context of the image.
Amidst the pain, Soo-Hyun’s decision to forgive is fueled by her understanding of their past struggles and the importance of moving forward together. Her husband expresses regret for his actions and reassures her of his love, sparking hope for their future.
Meanwhile, Soo-Hyun heads to the police station to bail out Seon-Yul, marking herself as his guardian, which touches his heart, prompting him to befriend her. In episode 4, Seon-Yul is occupied with investigating the anonymous sender on Soo-Hyun’s behalf.
On another note, Soo-Hyun encounters her neighbor, Hye-Geum, who shares a connection through their sons. Hye-Geum’s words offer solace to Soo-Hyun. However, her happiness takes a sharp turn when she spots her husband, Soo-Ho, entering a hotel room with Hye-Geum welcoming him at the door, sending her world into chaos.
