One of the most gifted professional wrestlers on the WWE roster right now is Drew McIntyre. A significant part of WWE’s improvement during the COVID-19 pandemic was attributed to the Scottish Warrior. When travel limitations prevented any big performers from appearing in the show, he was the only person carrying the company.

During that time, he won two WWE Championships and turned what should have been his worst year into one of his best. Despite becoming the epidemic hero, he was never allowed to win the championship in the organization following. He did make some attempts at capture, but he was unsuccessful.

Following his defeat by Gunther at WrestleMania last year, Drew took a lengthy leave of absence from the WWE and disabled his social media accounts. This was his way of expressing his creative dissatisfaction. McIntyre’s departure from the organization following the expiration of his current contract has been previously reported.

By delaying signing a contract for a while, he also made jokes. A behind-the-scenes story provided a positive update regarding McIntyre’s WWE contract status, though.

Drew McIntyre re-signed a new deal

Drew McIntyre reportedly re-signed a new contract with WWE in advance of his current one expiring later this year, according to BWE on X. On the other hand, there has been no update regarding the deal’s specifics. When questioned about his contract during a prior interview conducted last year, McIntyre stated,

“I concentrate on the here and now. I try not to think about the past or the future. I concentrate on the here and now. I have no intention of going somewhere else. That’s all I have to say at this time. With a shift in his persona, Drew McIntyre is currently enjoying a fantastic run and has resumed his career as a heel.

With some impressive victories under his belt and a trip to WrestleMania 40 to challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship, Drew has been establishing himself as one of the team’s unquestionable stars. If McIntyre succeeds in getting the corporation to reach its objective, it might be a terrific time.
