A recurring character from season seven of Young Sheldon is back in the latest teaser. Finally back home in Medford, Texas, Sheldon and Mary had been apart from the Coopers for a few episodes. Now that the clan is complete, Young Sheldon can concentrate his tales on a single place.
Additionally, this makes it simpler to bring back well-known characters—possibly for the last time—before the run of The Big Bang Theory prequel comes to an end.
There are a lot of new sequences in the Young Sheldon season 7 promo film, one of which features Billy and Missy working together to plan what appears to be a party at the Sparks’ home.
Sheldon, meantime, keeps going to East Texas Tech and hanging out with his new pals. Finally, something flies into their house via their window, appearing to hurt Mary.

Billy was well-established from his Texas days because of Sheldon’s fondness for narrating tales from his youth, even before McClure made his acting debut.
But unlike the other members of the Cooper family, Billy never appeared in person in the nerd-focused sitcom, so all of the information about him that was available on The Big Bang Theory came from Sheldon’s stories—the most of which weren’t very positive.
The socially awkward genius considered him one of his greatest bullies—a claim that Young Sheldon hasn’t exactly lived up to. In the prequel, Billy is more of a bother than a joker. However, Billy’s friendship with Missy is far more intriguing than his affiliation with Sheldon.
It’s no secret that the son of Brenda Sparks has always had a thing for the only daughter of George and Mary. Though there are rumors that Billy may eventually become Missy’s first spouse on The Big Bang Theory, nothing romantic has come out of their bonding sessions.
Given Young Sheldon’s already abbreviated final season, it’s questionable if the prequel will be able to set that up. But matching them up could be the first step after Missy’s new boyfriend broke up with her.
Whether Billy makes further cameos in Young Sheldon before the show concludes in May is a matter of time, especially in light of the possibility that he plays a more significant role in the Cooper family’s life outside of the spinoff.
Thus far, the prequel has not provided any evidence to support Sheldon’s portrayal of him as a bully. Regardless, Sheldon was mistaken about a number of things regarding his early years in The Big Bang Theory, as demonstrated by George’s adultery incident with Mary.
